Media Owner's Guide to Publish Videos For Mobile Phones

Who is this guide for?

This guide is intended for media owner and publishers who desire to product and distribute video content to mobile phone. In This Tutorial, we use Quicktime Pro, available for Mac OS X and Windows XP and Windows Vista, to prepare the video content for mobile. It is not mandatory and any other video compression software will a fine job.

Prepare your content

Let's get to it! Select one of your short format video, ideally 1'30" to 4' long. It can be a NTSC, PAL, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVI, any format QuikTime can open.

Upload your content

Create a new email message in your favorite email client. Attach your mobile-ready video to the email body. Enter your video title in the subject live. You can enter a brief description of the video, maximum 256 characters, in the email body. finally, send this email to upload@mogg.mobi.

Once the email has been sent, you should receive an email back within 5 minutes containing the URL to download the video. You are now ready to share this URL with all your users.
